Album #3 sees Van Halen getting a little heavier, both sonically and, to a lesser extent, thematically. The album features more studio overdubs and less emphasis on backing vocals. Heavy rockers “And The Cradle Will Rock” and “Everybody Wants Some” are works of high-volume art.
