Refund policy
We buy from leading record labels and distributors — and always package our products with care. But if you ever have an issue with record quality, please contact us immediately. Exchanges and refunds are handled promptly, as follows:
Exchange/Replacement — We will gladly send you a replacement if your record has an obvious manufacturing defect (one that affects playability) or is damaged in transit. Just send us the little problem child, and we’ll send you a better-behaved one at no charge. We ask that you first contact us via email at deafmanvinyl@gmail.com and explain your situation. We’ll provide you with a return shipping label or details on the best way to handle this. Please use the mailer your record came in (if it’s still in good shape) and send it back via Media Mail.
Refunds — If you’ve purchase the wrong record or are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us via email at deafmanvinyl@gmail.com. PLEASE DO NOT OPEN THE NEW VINYL RECORD UNTIL YOU ARE SURE YOU WANT TO KEEP IT. We cannot take back an opened record just because you don't like it. We’ll provide you with a return shipping label or details on the best way to handle this. Again, please use the mailer your record came in and send it back via Media Mail, and we’ll refund your purchase price.
Keep in mind that refunds can take up to 5-10 days to process. It's not up to us — it's done through the credit card system. So please don't spend your last penny on a shiny new vinyl and expect a quick refund if you change your mind.
Sound Fair?
In return, we simply ask that you do not abuse this policy. If you’re not happy with a particular mix, for example, you’re gonna need to bitch to the record company (or your favorite artist). We’re as passionate as you about good pressings, but we ultimately can’t be responsible for audio quality as everyone’s system is different. Also, please make your exchange/refund request within thirty (30) days of the purchase date. We are NOT able to issue a refund or exchange after such date.
