Limited Edition LP on Clear Vinyl or Compact Disc

Super Takanaka Live! is reissued as part of the Universal Fusion Breeze series, which revives classic J-Fusion masterpieces originally released on the Kitty and Polydor labels. This album captures performances from Takanaka’s “Christmas Super Live” concerts held December 23-24, 1979, and includes eight tracks featuring a standout live rendition of the Sadistic Mika Band classic “Kurofune.”

The vinyl edition is a repress of the album originally released on July 17, 2025, celebrating 53 years since the debut of Japan’s iconic super guitarist with a newly remastered analog release on color vinyl, sourced from high-resolution audio created from the original master tapes and remastered and cut by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios in London. Pressed on 180-gram clear vinyl.

CD has been digitally remastered in SHM-CD format.
