Celebrating 50 years of Faces’ greatest hits collection, the original album was released one year after Faces split up. The release includes their hits “Stay With Me” and “Ooh La La,” along with later singles like “Pool Hall Richard” and “You Can Make Me Dance, Sing, or Anything…” that were never included on a studio album. Lacquers cut from original analog master by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab.
Faces formed in London in 1969 after Small Faces lead singer and guitarist Steve Marriott left to form Humble Pie. The remaining band members — bassist Ronnie Lane, drummer Kenney Jones, and keyboardist Ian McLagan — recruited lead singer Rod Stewart and guitarist Ronnie Wood, and shortened the band’s name to Faces.
