Double Album LP Pressing
Slim Shady is the second studio album by Eminem, but his first with Interscope Records and Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment. Written from the perspective of the rapper’s alter ego, Slim Shady, the lyrics are noted for their over-the-top depictions of violence and heavy use of profanity. The album debuted at #2 on the US Billboard 200 chart, and the first single, “My Name Is,” peaked at #36 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2003, the album was ranked #273 on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
