Black Vinyl or 10th Anniversary on Translucent Black Vinyl

All of the songs on Simpson’s 2013 debut album are written by Simpson, except the last couple of tracks, which were written by Ray Cline/Ralph Stanley and Steven Fromholz. Simpson’s own songs are very much tales of life, lost love, a struggling musician and even stories of a hard-working coal mining community. Unlike sanitized Nashville country music, this album has a genuine hard edge.

The 10th Anniversary edition includes an “Old King Coal” blacked-out album cover with a glossy embossed jacket and is pressed on translucent black vinyl.
