The Gorillaz’ 2018 release is their sixth studio album. With the announcement of The Now Now, the British “band” also introduced a new fictional member, Ace from Cartoon Network’s animated series The Powerpuff Girls. In the story, Ace is a temporary replacement for Murdoc, who has been incarcerated. A truly global phenomenon, Gorillaz have topped charts around the world and toured the globe, picking up hundreds of millions of streams and record sales along the way.
