Metallica continues to release remasters of their catalog, with the latest being the 5x Platinum Load for 2025. Produced by Bob Rock, Load is the follow-up to Metallica, the best-selling album of the Soundscan era. Load contains fan favorites including “Until It Sleeps,” “Hero Of The Day,” “King Nothing” and, for the first time ever, the original extended version of “The Outlaw Torn,” which was originally edited due to manufacturing limits. Remastered by Reuben Cohen at Lurssen Mastering, overseen by executive producer Greg Fidelman, and vinyl lacquers cut by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering. Album is pressed on two 180-gram vinyl LPs in a gatefold jacket with two printed inserts. Includes an MP3 download card.
