YUNGBLUD — Idols
Grammy Nom for Best Rock Album
Black Vinyl LP
Idols was created over the course of four years in Leeds, UK, a deliberate choice to work close to where Yungblud (Dominic Harrison) grew up. Called his most ambitious work yet, Yungblud referred to the album as “a project with no limitations.” The album was issued as a double LP, with the first part released on 20 June 2025.[4] This initial 12-track collection features the singles “Hello Heaven, Hello,” “Lovesick Lullaby” and “Zombie.”
YUNGBLUD referred to the project as “a love letter to self-reclamation … to rock music … [and] to life, in all its fucking madness.” The album marks a shift in his career, drawing influence from Britpop as well as a variety of artists, including Oasis, The Verve, Primal Scream, My Chemical Romance, David Bowie and Madonna.
