We were recently approved to participate in Record Store Day (you have to be an independent record store with a bricks-and-mortar location). So November 26, 2021, is our first RSD Drop … and we couldn’t be more excited!
As a small, independent record store, we appreciate your support! Keep ’em spinning!
Record Store Day Releases
Record Store Day was conceived as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1,400 independently owned record stores in the US and thousands more internationally. The first Record Store Day took place on April 19, 2008. While the official Record Store Day takes place annually, there are typically RSD drops for Black Friday also. Special vinyl and CD releases and various promotional products are made exclusively for Record Store Day and RSD Black Friday.
As you know, things are a little crazy in the world of supply and demand right now. Unfortunately, production issues, customs issues, shipping issues, rights issues and some pretty comical situations have hit the RSD Black Friday releases — meaning some previously listed albums are not currently available. Also, due to limited pressing quantities, we didn’t receive every album we ordered. So your best bet to get what you want is to visit our store in-person on Friday, November 26, 2021.
After the busy Black Friday weekend, we’ll add any still-available titles to our website. You can find them below.
