With an ageless magnificence and rich musical imagination, Mastodon unleashed their second album, Leviathan, an unabated testimonial to the band’s earthshaking ability to rock. The concept album is loosely based on the 1851 novel Moby-Dick by Herman Melville. The songs “Iron Tusk” and “Blood And Thunder” were released as singles, and music videos were created for those two songs as well as the tracks “I Am Ahab” and “Seabeast.” Three magazines named it Album of the Year in 2004: Revolver, Kerrang! and Terrorizer.
