Magic Sam (derived from his real name Samuel Maghett) was a Chicago blues musician known for his distinctive tremolo guitar playing. He got his start in the late ’50s after the release of his first record, “All Your Love.” West Side Soul, his debut album originally released in 1968, is often cited as one of the key modern electric blues albums. The album includes a re-recording of “All Your Love” and an updated “Sweet Home Chicago,” which became a popular blues anthem.
